Ever heard water running but couldn’t find where it’s coming from?

That’s exactly what happened to one of our customers. Which resulted in a complete re tile of their kitchen floor as a result.

They kept hearing running water near their main shut-off valve but couldn’t figure out why.

We attended and attempted to turn off the main water supply using the incoming shut off valve (stopcock), but the water kept flowing.

After some investigating, we discovered the issue: a hidden leak in the underground pipe leading to the house. The old copper pipe had been wrapped in duct tape for protection, but the brass fitting was left exposed, causing corrosion over time.

We replaced and properly protected the pipes to prevent future damage (we prefer the use of using Denzo tape for this). Fellow installers, let us know your thoughts on pipework protection.

Teamed up with Tony and the team from Sana MEP LTD for a shell and core fit out for some commercial units.

Got the ball rolling on some high level HDPE drainage works. Probably our favourite means of drainage install.

Van got pushed to the limits today. The materials were bad enough before the two welders were thrown on!

We were given an excellent opportunity to fit out the plumbing for a commercial office.

These works include

Upgrade of mains cold water supply to boosted cold water supply via a Dutypoint Scuba Tank.

Unvented hot water systems consisting of both cylinder with HWS and HWR or wall hung water heaters.

Geberit HDPE electrofusion and butt welded lateral and svp runs.

Riser works with surge protection.

High and low level setting out containment and pipework installation.

Pre plumbs and 2nd fixing of sanitary ware.

Installation of anti scald TMVs.

Installation of Doc M toilet and shower wet rooms. Also including semi abled wc's.

Testing and commissioning throughout.

We was given a very challenging time frame to get these works completed. But the team worked hard and digged deep to get the project completed on time without compromising on quality.

This was the 2nd office fit out this year. This was certainly the bigger of the two. Would love the opportunity to get some more commercial fit outs in the new year!
